The Formula came standard with a Pontiac 301 V8 engine but could be upgraded to a 49-state Pontiac 350 or a California/high-altitude Olds 350. The most desirable option however was the 400ci Pontiac V8 which was also used in the T/A and delivered up to 220hp. The Formula also had a distinctive look featuring a dual-scoop hood but unlike the T/A it didn’t have wheel-arch flares or front spoilers. The Formula was rare and underrated with only about 1000 cars produced with the 400 engine and four-speed manual in 1977.The 1:18 scale replica features a newly tooled Formula hood!
